Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-22 · Operated by [LEGAL ENTITY TO CONFIRM]
1. The service
LineRelay is an AI telephone reception service, currently in a pilot phase. It answers calls in natural conversation in Japanese and English, answers from business information approved by the customer, transfers calls to people, and sends requested information by SMS. Capabilities described as “coming soon” or “planned” — including analytics — are not part of the service today.
2. Pilot phase
Because the service is in a pilot phase, features, behaviour, and these terms may change. Pilot arrangements run month-to-month unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We do not currently offer guaranteed uptime, guaranteed response times, or service-level commitments, and nothing on this website should be read as offering them.
3. Customer responsibilities
Customers provide the business information LineRelay answers from, and are responsible for its accuracy. Customers must have the right to route their telephone calls to the service and to send SMS to callers who request information. The service must not be used for unlawful purposes, for harassment, for deceptive robocalling, or in ways that violate telecommunications regulations.
4. AI reception
Calls are answered by an automated system. While LineRelay is designed to answer only from approved information and to transfer to a person when needed, automated conversation carries inherent limitations, and the customer remains responsible for how the service is configured for its callers.
5. Fees
Fees are those published on the Pricing page or agreed in writing. Prices are shown in USD on the English pages (US market) and in JPY on the Japanese pages (Japan market). Usage beyond a plan’s included minutes is billed at the per-minute overage rate shown on the Pricing page.
6. Intellectual property
The service, this website, and the LineRelay name remain the property of [LEGAL ENTITY TO CONFIRM]. Customer business information remains the customer’s.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as-is during the pilot phase. Specific limitation-of-liability terms: [LIABILITY TERMS TO CONFIRM].
8. Governing law
