AI answering
Calls answered by LineRelay are handled by AI. Call content is transcribed and processed in order to answer, transfer to a person, or send an SMS.
Information processed during a call
Call audio and transcription
Call content is converted to text and processed with the business information you registered, in order to answer, transfer, and send SMS.
Call metadata
The calling number, date, time, and duration are processed, and are also handled by the telephony provider carrying the call.
Transfer to a person
Calls are transferred to the number you configured, under the conditions you set, and the information needed to connect the call is processed.
SMS delivery
Where a caller asks for an SMS, registered information is sent to the number they give, via an external telecommunications provider.
What is retained
Data is processed only as far as running the service needs. Information from calls is not used to build marketing lists.

Third-party providers
External providers are used for telephony and SMS carriage, transcription, and response generation. Each provider’s purpose and the data it handles are listed on the Subprocessors page.
Per-provider retention is described there, and only certifications actually obtained are listed. When this page changes, so does its last-updated date.
